Earthquake Safety Brochure


Hello children, this assignment is due THE FIRST CLASS THAT WE HAVE AFTER BREAK. 

  1. How can the people of your community prepare for an Earthquake?
  2. How can the people of your community act appropriately during an Earthquake?
  3. How can the people of your community act appropriately after an Earthquake?

Each section [1, 2, and 3] must contain at least 3 paragraphs with at least 6 examples. 
Each section [1, 2, and 3] must contain at least 1 diagram that visually represents one example from each category. IE: 1 diagram of a person buying a flashlight and batteries for section 1.

  1. How do Earthquakes occur?

  1. What are the layers of the Earth? Which specific layers are involved in the occurrence of an Earthquake? HOW are those layers involved?
  2. What are the different ways in which plates interact?
  3. How does an Earthquake actually take place? Your answer should touch upon the events that take place in the mantle and crust respectively.
